As a child, I loved books and reading. After graduating college, I worked for 35 years in my pharmacy profession. I am now retired and perusing my love for writing, especially children’s picture books.
I am passionate about travel & photography, especially animals and nature. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to travel to over 130 countries & would like to use my experiences to share glimpses of the world and its diversity to young readers.
My adorable Bengal cat, Amara has inspired me to write my first children's picture book, “Amara Sets Sail”. I hope you enjoy reading this heartwarming story about a lovable Bengal cat that explores the world.
With my third book "Artie The Little Actic Fox" I have expanded my characters to include other beloved animals I have seen in the far reaches of the globe. If you liked Amara Sets Sail and Amara On Safari you are going to love adorable Artie!

It was amazing! Just read "Amara Sets Sail" by Suzanne Morreale with my young nephew and I'm not sure who enjoyed it more! We both loved the gentle telling of a wonderful "there's no place like home" story full of fascinating places and interesting characters. The illustrations fit the story perfectly. My young nephew has already reserved another reading for later today. Highly recommended!
