As a child, I loved books and reading. After graduating college, I worked for 35 years in my pharmacy profession. I am now retired and perusing my love for writing, especially children’s picture books.
I am passionate about travel & photography, especially animals and nature. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to travel to over 120 countries & would like to use my experiences to share glimpses of the world and its diversity to young readers.
My adorable Bengal cat, Amara has inspired me to write my first children's picture book, “Amara Sets Sail”. I hope you enjoy reading this heartwarming story about a lovable Bengal cat that explores the world. If you liked Amara Sets Sail you will LOVE my new book Amara On Safari!

Amara on Safari by Suzanne Morreale is a delightful adventure that blends mystery, excitement, and charm. Amara is a Bengal cat with an interest in exploring new places and embarking on epic adventures around the world, and her newest trip should bring plenty of excitement. She’s off to the African savanna where she discovers a surprising mission that only she can accomplish. She goes about to see the various animals and is having the time of her life when hyenas disrupt all the fun. When she learns that a leopard mother can’t find her cub, Amara jumps into action and begins the search but time is running short and the hyenas are getting closer.
